In conjunction with an upgrade of MARTA’s Train Control System and the Authority’s long-term vision, an analysis was conducted to identify alternatives for a combined Operations Center that would locate Rail Command, Bus Command and a Police Operations Center in the same facility. Ultimately, an existing property was heavily modified for the new Operations Center.
